Red River Lodge & Suites was acquired from a Minneapolis, Minnesota based company in year 2004 by RRL Fargo, LLC. The hotel was built in 1979 as a “Thrifty Scott Inn”, changing to a “Days Inn” in early 90s and finally to “Red Roof Inn” in late 90s before converting to Red River Lodge in 2001.

Red River Lodge & Suites is owned by Fargo based RRL Fargo, LLC., a Fargo based company.

After acquisition Red River Lodge received its first renovation in 2005 to update essential amenities keeping guest comfort in focus such as carpet replacement, fresh paint, new pillow-top mattresses, introduction of king beds, 27” TVs, tile floor in the bathrooms, we replaced the old radiation heating system with in-room heat and AC units, lobby and breakfast room improvement etc. We also took a major step of going 100% SMOKE FREE, becoming first hotel in Fargo to do so. Introduction of our web site www.RedRiverFargo.com with real time online reservation system made our hotel accessible to our guests at their convenience. Renovation project ended in June of 2006.

In year 2010, we decided to finish renovating the items we did not replace in 2005. This time our focus was bringing our hotel to the modern 3-star hotel standard along with adding many guest comforts. Changes such as new furniture, 32” & 42” LCD TVs, new light fixtures, bedding, curtains, bath-tubs, face-lift of the building exterior, new metal roof were few of the major improvements we made along with converting some double rooms to King Suites and the addition of a Grand King whirlpool suite. We also improved the breakfast area and opened “Neo Cocktails”, our bar and lounge. With the addition of suites we updated our name and logo to Red River Lodge & Suites. The renovation project ended in September of 2010. This solid concrete facility is both comfortable and quiet.

Our goal is to provide the best value for the money and with an excellent guest experience. We work to make each stay comfortable while providing a clean and healthy environment, the highest level of customer service, and to achieve high customer satisfaction. We believe in engaging with guests and creating a friendly and positive environment. With recent and past renovations we will continue to make improvements and change to accommodate our guests and the changing needs of our modern world.
