The Beste Mor Guest Inn is located in Kathryn, ND, 17 miles south of Valley City. It is approximately one hour from Fargo and four hours from Minneapolis.
Turn back to yesteryear and experience an era of time gone by. Located along North Dakota's scenic Byway in the quiet town of Kathyn, the Beste Mor (besta morr) is available for overnight stays, weekends, weeks, or almost any event you can imagine.

Bestemor, which is Norwegian for Grandmother, was built by the great grandparents of the current owner. It is furnished with items reminiscent of visits to Grandma's house with a Norwegian flair.

Area attractions include fishing at the Kathryn Dam just east of town, or boating and swimming at Clausen Springs just west of town. Little Yellowstone park is 4 miles to the south. Sporting clays and a hunting preserve are available in nearby Litchville, ND plus many miles of scenic countryside.
